LdM Rome is located in the center of the historic city. The facilities form part of an elegant Umbertine palace constructed at the end of the 19th century, located on Via XX Settembre, one of the most important streets of the city.

The building has been re-designed to provide modern and functional rooms that include luminous studios and classrooms. Many of the principal sites and monuments of Rome, such as the Spanish Steps, the Quirinale, the Via Veneto, and the Trevi Fountain are within walking distance of the facility.

This central location can be easily reached from any part of the city by public transportation. LdM is situated between two metro stops, numerous bus lines, and is less than five minutes away from the central rail station (Termini) that services both airports.

The Institute's premises provide its students with services such as reading rooms, an exhibition space, studios, and a computer lab. The new facility has a developing English language reference library.
