Students of the Jewelry Department visiting the show ”Crystals” inside the oldest scientific museum in Europe “Museo della Specola” current section of the Museum of Natural History of Florence.
Over 500 samples of crystals collected by Adalberto Giazotto from all over the word such as : quartz, aquamarine, azurite, calcite, malachite, topaz, emeralds, from South Africa to Brazil, from Afghanistan to China, from the Alps to the Mediterranean.
Visiting the show helped knowing in deeply the beauty and the perfection of nature

Jewelry Making, the Florentine Way
Lorenzo de’ Medici is proud to announce the recent participation of Prof. Fabrizio Acquafresca in the recent Masters Symposium 2009, held by Revere Academy of Jewerly Arts in San Francisco. There, Acquafresca, along with other prominent figures in the field of Jewelry Arts, such as David Yurman, Christo Kiffer, Kent Raible, Bernd Munsteiner and Michael Good, held weekly workshops focusing on specific techniques pertaining to their individual expertise.
Student works – Jewelry Design
During the courses of Jewelry Design, students learn how to hand draw and how to apply rendering, using Rhino (Flamingo) and other programs, such as Tech Gem and Photo Shop, to develop their technical and creative skills.

Graduation day
The student Elena Timbaluc has recived the Study Certificate with a Distintion given her by all professors.
